Graphic design for Copenhagen 2021. The most significant LGBTI+ event in 2021 combining WorldPride, EuroGames, an eclectic arts and culture program, and the biggest ever LGBTI+ human rights forum. The event took place from 12–22 August 2021 in Copenhagen and Malmö
As the Graphic Designer for Copenhagen 2021 I had the following tasks and responsibilities during the project:

HIGHLIGHT I
One map to show it all
One of my more fun but definitely also quite time consuming design task on this project was to create a map encompassing the entire event in both Copenhagen and Malmö.
Part of this task was also illustrating more than 50 icons symbolising landmarks and sights throughout the two host cities.
In the end
I ended up having to split the map up in smaller pieces as it was simply too large to publish on the website.
Nevertheless I’m exceedingly proud of this interactive map as it’s both beautiful and functional.

The Official Guide
to Copenhagen 2021
WorldPride & EuroGames
One of the challenges we faced during planning of this event was Covid-19. We had several scenarios planned depending on what the situation would be during the event.
This also greatly affected my time to work on the Official Guide. Originally I had four weeks to design the pages. But because of last minute changes I ended up with having about two weeks to do the design.
Despite the short deadline I’m immensely happy with the outcome.

HIGHLIGHT III
Dynamic countdown to Copenhagen 2021 WorldPride & EuroGames. I produced the animation in Adobe After Effect with some image editing in Photoshop. The countdown was published on ClearChannel screens across Copenhagen and Malmö leading up to the event.
